This prestigious annual study, conducted by the Marketing Association of Uzbekistan, evaluates creativity, innovation, and the overall success of marketing strategies. The ranking is compiled under the supervision of an expert council comprising 200 top managers and marketers from leading local and international brands. GROSS’s high score is a testament to the company’s strong brand management, strategic adaptability, and ability to successfully promote its services in a competitive insurance landscape.
“We aim not only to lead the market but to set standards in innovation and customer service,” said Otabek Nazarov, Chairman of the Management Board of GROSS. “GROSS was the first company in Uzbekistan to launch fully online policy issuance for all B2C insurance products. Our team is available to policyholders 24/7 through all communication channels to provide prompt assistance or simply answer questions. We’re automating business processes and implementing artificial intelligence technologies — all to meet the demands of not just today, but tomorrow.” He added: “Our marketing effectiveness is reflected in our financial performance. For example, in the international segment, we now operate reinsurance business in 79 countries. In 2024, our reinsurance volumes grew by 392%, demonstrating the high level of trust GROSS commands worldwide. This fourfold increase in incoming reinsurance business underscores the strength of our team. Looking ahead, we plan to deepen partnerships with global insurance groups and brokers, expand reinsurance contracts, and strengthen our global market position.”
GROSS’s marketing and advertising initiatives have also made it a top-recognized brand in the industry, as confirmed by research from the marketing agency De Facto.
“GROSS focuses on customer needs, continuously improving products to meet evolving expectations and adopting cutting-edge marketing approaches,” noted Kamolidin Beknazarov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of GROSS. “We’ve shifted the emphasis from simply promoting insurance services to executing social initiatives. We’re proud that the professional community has recognized this, and our social campaign Xavfsiz Harakat has won four Jolbors Awards and two TAF Awards this year. We’re grateful to everyone who supported this idea and helped us make life safer and more comfortable. We take pride in pioneering new trends in the insurance sector.”
GROSS collaborates with top creative and marketing agencies and production studios in Uzbekistan, including Sintez (ranked #1 in the national agency rating), Vazari, and Lunar. A notable project — the “Portable Signs” campaign under Xavfsiz Harakat — earned accolades at both the Jolbors Festival and the TAF International Advertising Festival.
